We hope our wonderful members have been doing wonderfully well since we last blog-ed and we're here to let you know about the great new upgrades to GetWatchers!

Today's blog will be focusing on an important part - Commissions Section.
            
              


We know it's sometimes hard for artists to create art and manage to pay bills in the same time, so we have created a new feature to help you get more commissions.

    How it works:

        We now have a collection especially for members doing commissions as a way to pay bills and manage in real life! Due to the many requests about commissions, we have decided this is a must-have feature. This will also help people who want to have commissions made to find the artists doing them much more easily!

Are you offering commissions on DA?
Follow the steps to get on the list as well as in the Meme collection:

1. Fill in a Commission Meme of our Group which you can find here:
That is done by making previews for drawings you want to show as examples and pasting on the meme in the right side of the Price Information along with Proper Descriptions.

! IMPORTANT !

Your meme will be voted "YES" (accepted) to go in the collection if the meme is filled in smoothly (a proper FONT not hand-written), if it contains proper information required and if it looks clean Within the borderlines (BOXED PREVIEW SPACES!). If it's not, it will be voted "No" (declined) OR YOU WILL BE ASKED TO EDIT IT so why not do it right from the beginning?

These are just sorting rules, so the people who are willing to work for their commissions to get on the list and those who do not bother making a clean submission to not get on the list. We want to bring serious artists to those looking to commission them. You can, however, customize them but only OUTSIDE the borderlines of the special spaces for Descriptions and Previews. If you do a GREAT job of your own customized preview boxed (ex. stretching them in height and positioning them in a proper way next to the prices+descriptions), then you will get accepted as well. Simply throwing a preview over the boxes' lines in a messy way will not get you accepted, only if you correct it.

2. Submit your commissions meme in this folder: getwatchers.deviantart.com/fav… - and please wait until it is checked and accepted.

*If asked to correct something like fonts replacing messy hand-writing and previews placed messily (like ex. above), you have a choice to correct or deny. If you don't want to do it right, don't be upset but you won't get it featured. We ask you to do a nice job so you can prove to everyone that you care about your commissions and about exposing your arts in a proper way. The more appealing it is, the more chances for you to find wonderful people who want you to do a commission for them!

3. After acceptance, you will be featured in the folder and a Large preview of your MEME on a slide-show above comment area where all the members can see it!


FAQ:

When is the deadline for submissions?
No deadline. You can submit it at any time so take a while to do it right or ask for help if you have a style that does not revolve around editing programs (ex. artisan crafts is not related to editing programs that are needed to do a clean meme so we would help you put one together in a few days if you were really serious about commissions).

What about point commissions?
Accepted.

Is it just drawings or can it be paintings, crafts and digital art also?
Photography, digital and traditional art accepted.
YOU CAN SUBMIT CRAFTS, LITERATURE, PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, ETC.

The memes CAN be Customized by those who wish but the previews and text must remain clear and viewable to be accepted! If not, try correcting or you will not be accepted.
